About VidzTranscripts

VidzTranscripts is a free online tool that converts video and audio into accurate text transcripts and subtitles. We built it because getting a transcript should not require a subscription, an account, or handing your recordings to a chain of third-party services.

What makes us different

• Our own infrastructure. Transcription runs on servers we operate, using open-source speech recognition models. Your recordings are not sent to outside AI providers.
• Privacy first. Uploaded media is deleted as soon as it has been transcribed. We keep only the text so you can come back to it through your private link.
• Free to use. The service is supported by advertising, so anyone can transcribe files every day without paying.
