This Privacy Policy explains what information VidzTranscripts ("we", "us") collects when you use https://vidztranscripts.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Files you upload
- Video and audio files you upload, or that we download from a link you provide, are used only to create your transcript.
- Transcription runs on our own servers. We do not send your media to third-party transcription or AI services.
- Media files are deleted automatically as soon as transcription finishes or fails.
- The resulting transcript text is stored so you can view and download it via its unique link. Anyone who has that link can view the transcript, so share it with care. Transcript pages are not listed on our site and are marked so that search engines do not index them.
Information collected automatically
When you use the service we record your IP address with each transcription request to enforce fair-use limits and prevent abuse. Our servers also keep standard access logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, date and time) for security and troubleshooting.
Cookies and advertising
We use Google AdSense to show advertisements, which keeps the service free. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.

Data retention
Media files are deleted immediately after processing. Transcripts and request records may be kept for up to 90 days and are then deleted. You can ask us to delete a transcript earlier by contacting us with its link.

Children
The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
