Supported audio formats

MP3, WAV, M4A (iPhone voice memos), AAC, OGG and OPUS (WhatsApp and Telegram voice notes), FLAC, WMA and AMR are all supported. There is no need to convert anything before uploading.

Tips for better audio transcripts

Record close to the speaker, avoid music under speech, and choose the correct language before uploading. If two people talk over each other the transcript will still be produced, but overlapping words are harder to recognise.

Paragraphs, not a wall of text

We split the transcript into paragraphs at natural pauses and keep timestamps for every sentence, so long recordings are easy to read and easy to jump around in.

What is the maximum audio length?

Each file can be up to 3 hours long on the free plan.

Is my audio shared with anyone?

No. Audio is processed on our own servers, not sent to third-party AI services, and is deleted as soon as it has been transcribed.
