Terms of Service
Last updated: September 18, 2026
By using VidzTranscripts ("the service") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. The service
VidzTranscripts converts speech in video and audio files into text transcripts and subtitle files using automatic speech recognition. Transcripts are generated automatically and may contain errors. Check important content (for example legal, medical or financial material) against the original recording.
2. Your content
- You must own, or have permission to use, any file or link you submit.
- You keep all rights to your content and transcripts. You grant us only the limited permission needed to process your file and provide the transcript to you.
- You must not submit content that is illegal, infringes others' rights, or that you do not have the right to share.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Abuse, overload or attempt to disrupt the service, including by automated bulk submissions.
- Try to bypass usage limits (currently 10 files per 24 hours on the free plan).
- Use the service to download or redistribute copyrighted content without permission.
- Attempt to access other users' transcripts or our systems without authorisation.
4. Limits and availability
Free usage is subject to limits on file size, duration and number of files, which we may change. We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may modify or discontinue features at any time.
5. Disclaimer
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, VidzTranscripts is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service or reliance on any transcript.
6. Copyright complaints
If you believe content on the service infringes your copyright, contact us at support@vidztranscripts.com with the details and we will respond promptly.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated terms.
